Maryland United Boys ECNL Program

Maryland United Boys Families:

I would like to give all parents an update on the current state of the club. This year was a record year in terms of tryout numbers. In speaking to parents that attended tryouts, it is clear that our program has a reputation for developing players and caring for the kids in our program. The culture of our program has helped prepare our kids for success on and off the field. This is the strongest player-pool and coaching staff that we have had.  I anticipate a very successful 2017-18 season.

All U9 - U14 are coming towards the end of a great fall season. We had a number of successful group results over the last few weeks in our league and tournament play. Our brand of soccer and our training model has evolved over the last few years. The environment at each one of our training sites has brought out the best in our players over the past few months. Congratulations to the 2004 ECNL boys for winning the OBGC Capital Cup. Well done to the 2004 and 2006 red teams, who were finalists at the SAC Columbus Day Tournament. Our 2004 ECNL group has made a fantastic start to their season against some of the toughest competition in the country.  Good luck to all of our players participating in events over the next couple of weeks.

Our U15 - U19 players have been dominating the high school scene in Maryland. Over twenty five of our freshman boys made their respective varsity teams. This is a direct reflection of our player-centric program. The high school teams will begin practice the week of November 6th. Your TeamSnap pages will be updated in the next couple of days with the entire winter training program. Good luck to everyone with their playoffs this week.

Parent Code of Conduct

Please take a few minutes to review the Parent Code of Conduct (click here) that was agreed to when players were registered. This process works best when we all know what to expect from each other and this is critical to our success as an organization.

As you should have seen this week, the first Boys ECNL Newsletter went out to all of the players in our program.
